4. Eligibility
To use our services, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Have authority to request work at the property
- Provide accurate information
5. Bookings and Payments
5.1 Quotes
Quotes are valid for 14 days unless otherwise stated. Final pricing may vary if the scope of work changes.
5.2 Payments
- Payment is due upon completion unless agreed otherwise
- We accept card payments via Stripe
- A deposit may be required for larger jobs
5.3 Cancellations
- Free cancellation up to 24 hours before appointment
- Late cancellations may incur a call-out fee
- Emergency call-outs are non-refundable once an electrician is dispatched
6. Our Electricians
Electricians assigned through the platform must be suitable for the work requested. Before relying on a specific credential, insurance amount, certification, scheme membership or renewal date, ask for the current supporting evidence for the individual or company attending.
- Electrical work should be completed to the applicable BS 7671 wiring regulations
- Notifiable work should be supported by appropriate certification or notification where required
- Insurance and competency proof should be checked before dispatch or appointment confirmation
- Credentials should not be inferred from this website unless an individual profile or document explicitly verifies them
7. Warranties
- Workmanship is guaranteed for 12 months
- Manufacturer warranties apply to materials used
- Electrical certificates are provided for notifiable work
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- Our liability is limited to the value of services provided
- We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses
- We are not liable for issues beyond our control
9. Complaints
If you're not satisfied:
- Contact us within 7 days of job completion
- We will investigate and respond within 5 working days
- Unresolved issues may be referred to our complaints procedure
10. Intellectual Property
All content on our platform is owned by GripElectric or our licensors. You may not copy, distribute, or use our content without permission.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
